Worship services update

Dear Calvary Family,

We are so thankful to God for the countless ways that He blesses our lives! One of the ways He blesses us is experienced in the time that we spend gathering and worshiping Him together. Whether we gather in-person or online via live-feed, our lives are enriched and our souls are encouraged as we give praise and receive spiritual nourishment from the Lord. I encourage you not to lose sight of the importance of our weekly gatherings in these difficult days.

Given the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, and particularly due to the hospitalizations that are pushing our health care facilities and workers to capacity, we will once again be making adjustments to our Sunday Worship Services. Rather than having two Sunday Services, we will be hosting one Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 am starting November 15. This service will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page and the teaching will be available on our Sermons page. We will not be hosting Children's Church at this time, but we welcome children to join us, with their parents, in our Worship Service. We will have children's Worship Bags available with Biblically based coloring pages, etc. for kids to use during the service.  Face masks are required during the Worship Service for ages five and up.

As always, if you or a close family member are in a high-risk health category, are uncomfortable with our safety guidelines, or just aren't ready to be in a group setting, then I hope you'll continue to join us virtually.

Please don't forget about our online prayer request form! If you (or anyone that you know) need prayer, or would like someone in leadership to contact you, just fill out the form and let us know.

"Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation." (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

Grace and peace to you!

Pastor Daniel
